Riesling – Not your college girlfriend’s Riesling, this is serious white wine. Made in the Alsatian style, it boasts white peach and apricot with kiwi undertones but is dry and complex.
Chardonnay – Sourced from Ruth’s Vineyard situated on the Mokelumne River in Lodi. This Chardonnay has amazing aromatics and tastes of green apple, almond and cream. It has balanced acids that accentuate the finish and flavors.
GSM (Granache-Syrah-Mourvedre) – This intriguing Rhone blend is predominately Grenache with Syrah and Mouvedre blended in. Grenache adds candied fruit, raspberry and cinnamon spice. Syrah adds darker fruit flavors of blueberry and plum and contributes a savory and terrior driven nose sometimes described as “bacon fat” aroma. Mouvedre imparts earth and adds tannin structure.
Malbec – Incredible aromatics – roasted, nutty molasses and butter notes enhance a vibrant core of cherry, rhubarb and black raspberries; lush ripe and dark. Red wine that wants to be black velvet.
Zinfandel – Ultra-ripe aromas of bramble fruit and blueberry interlaced with cedar and fragrant dried flowers. Lush blackberry, fig and cassis on the palate spiced with nutmeg, clove and licorice.
Tempranillo – Anise, coffee and smoky oak enrich the layers of red plum and black cherry. In a mouth-staining wine with such great extraction, the smooth supple tannins are a welcome surprise.
Cabernet Sauvignon – Sourced from a 2,600 foot elevation mountain vineyard in El Dorado County. This stunning Cabernet has deep, dark extraction with excellent balance of acid and tannins. Bob personally walks the vineyard each year and selects the clones, blocks and even vines that are harvested for this fantastic 100% Cabernet.
